WETT INSPECTIONS

What is a WETT Inspection?

A WETT inspection is the inspection of a solid-fuel-burning system, performed by a WETT-certified professional, for compliance with applicable codes and standards. Codes include the BC Building Code and CSA-B365, as well as the certified instructions that come with a certified stove or venting system.

Often Insurance companies request a WETT inspection, or home owners get their systems inspected to insure the safety of their stove and chimney.

You can get more information on WETT inspections from wett.ca and click on the ‘Learn More About WETT’ tab.
